Junior Auxiliary of Meridian, Mississippi is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that represents a serious endeavor on the part of women to be active and constructive community participants and to assume leadership roles in meeting community needs. Junior Auxiliary provides members with the opportunity to serve and to be a vital part of the community through chapter service projects that directly benefit children.

Our love for the children extends through local schools, community events, and the homes of families in Lauderdale County. 60+ members serve more than 4000 hours annually across six projects that provide mentoring, school uniforms, personal hygiene items, eye exams and prescription eyeglasses, books, and more. The chapter also funds teacher mini-grants in support of classroom technology and supplies for educators.

Approximately 5,360 children age 0-17 within our service impact area live in poverty (US Census Bureau, 2019). The good work of our chapter directly serves these children, and our efforts rely on fundraising and sponsorship.

Each Junior Auxiliary project is funded in part by the financial support of our Project Sponsors.  Without the generosity of many businesses and individuals, Junior Auxiliary could not offer as many quality programs to our community each year. We welcome your support in any and all ways you are able to give. Sponsorships and individual donations are welcome. There are various sponsorship levels that offer a wide range of recognition and engagement opportunities. We offer standard sponsorship packages, or we can work with you to customize an agreement that delivers the right value to both parties.

We greatly appreciate our sponsors and all who demonstrate their belief in our mission of helping ensure the health, education, and well-being of the children of Meridian and Lauderdale County through their contributions.

If you are interested in becoming a project sponsor, contact us at sponsorship@jameridian.com.
