🎬Junior Auxiliary Mentoring July Event: Movie Day
🎥 This month, our chapter hosted a movie day on an inflatable screen at the Mississippi Army National Guard Armory in Meridian, MS to allow the residents and faculty of Hope Village to unwind before heading back to school. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this day possible: 📺 Staff Sergeant Dana Johnson for allowing us to use the armory 🍕 Christopher Lyons from Little Caesar’s for donating pizza 🍿 Meridian’s Golden Ticket Cinema for donating popcorn 🌟JAMs Project Spotlight goes to Rebecca Oubre, Mollie Haarala, & Caroline Garrett. JAMs Project Chair Jasmine Bolden says, “Rebecca and Mollie are JAMs committee members who were in charge of leading this month’s event. I am proud of Rebecca and Mollie for going above and beyond to make sure everything for this event was set in place to make it happen. Both ladies are valuable assets to our JAMs committee!” Bolden adds, “Caroline also stepped in to help with setting up and cleaning up. Thank you Caroline for being selfless and graceful!” |

NOW OPEN: Teacher Mini-Grant Applications
Junior Auxiliary of Meridian, Mississippi is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides members with the opportunity to serve and to be a vital part of the community through chapter service projects that directly benefit children. Our love for the children extends through local schools, community events, and the homes of families in Lauderdale County. Our active membership of more than 50 women serves more than 3500 hours annually across five standing projects that provide charitable services to children, including: mentoring for middle school girls, activities and mentoring for Hope Village teens, school uniforms, personal hygiene items, eye exams and prescription eyeglasses, literacy building and take-home books to 2nd graders, teacher mini-grants, as well as a provisional class service project and Crown Club service project each year.
